I am doing some research into degradation in semiconductor lasers over an 18 month period and I'm getting some unexpected results my forward bias voltage Vs current slope efficiency seems to be improving with use. I've posted the relevant LIV curves below the March curve is the previous curve. Anyone any ideas into why this might be occurring my internal losses could hardly be improving?
