I know it is too late to give this as a gift to anyone but yourself!

If my money was not tied up right now I might order one, but yet I still need to research
whether it records audio in stereo with decent quality for that final decision.

I've been looking into these cheap HD video cameras. I'd like to get one that can be dash mounted and can mount to weapons. The audio is stereo according to the product page.

The sound gets messed up if the volume is too high or the camera gets jarred around according to some reviews though.

My problem is finding one that can zoom in though. Wide angle is nice but I'd like to be able to zoom in.
