It comes from a burned red module from a friend of mine. Most likely 642nm, but not 100% sure (he cannot remember well).
Me too searched on Google: no results.

    Hi Steve

Thanks for your interest... You're very kind.

Well... I just called my friend on phone asking more infos. He is on vacation in Croatia.

He only remember that he bought this (his words...) "medium size case" projector, which dimensions are approx 30x15x30 cm (still his words...), when he had been in Hong Kong two years ago. The broken red module is anonimous.... any label or printing over it.
He sent me by his phone the picture of diode taken off from module. Even if photo isn't so clear, he told me he's 100%sure about printing over it:

    HS8M
    1830

Read it as you can see it written.

    That's all I know.

Anyway... I already told him to buy a new red module when he will return home i Italy....
(He is a Captain of Merchant Marine... He earn a lot of money monthly.... so he surely will not have ANY problem buying a new red...)

Well Steve I searched again and couldn't find anything. Maybe your friend can post a pic of the pj when he gets home and someone here might recognize it ..
