When you secure a projector which has no separate "attaching point for a steel" on the projector-house then the only way to secure it is with the toggle.
The only problem is that the house of the projector won't be secured only the toggle, when the toggle fails .......

I don't understand what you mean by toggle. Do you mean the bracket, or the bracket fixing bolts/screws?
Eye bolts are cheap, if your projector doesn't have one, fit one.
