    Default Maintaining consistent laser diode temperature

    What do you folks do to keep the temperature of your laser diodes constant? I have had a few incidents where I had to heat my green laser up with a heat gun because it was incredibly dimm from sitting in a cold car.

    Just a tec? Which one? Is it home made? How are you controlling it?

    I have a green laser that has some type of thermal management (a fan and probably a tec stuffed inside the heatsink/case). It is glue shut so I can't see what's inside. Have any of you opened one of these up? Is it just a small tec glued directly to the module or is there some sort of tec out there that you can press a laser into?

    Wavelength electronics makes some temp control modules that will do what you want. They pop up on ebay.
