There is another couple of minutes that's probably searchable on Youtube but, you get the idea.
WOW! Thank you for posting the video. It is even more impressive than it appeared previously. I suspect this device is worth the cost just for the grating module. I can't wait to see what it will take to upgrade it to analog mod. That combined with thoughtfully timed DMX control should make it even more impressive.

If anyone figures out where to get those optic modules I'm in for a pair.
Linna, are you sure they don't want to sell them separately?

    Pictures, pictures, pictures...

So, there are 4 things on this wheel inside. One is the lumia glass (plastic), one is similar to the Cokin "Galaxy" camera filter from the 80's, one - which I assume is the burst grating, has almost a herringbone sort of pattern to the spectrum produced by the prism and, damn if the 3D doesn't by all appearances look like a lenticular lens but, it can't possibly be cut the same way.

Not a drop of hot melt glue.

ID:	36770 This is how it detects positioning. When you turn it on, the wheel starts in this "home" position, mechanically stopped by the black pin.

Thanks for posting the pictures Brad. I appreciate it's quite a bit of effort on your part, so thanks for taking the time to do it

    Cheers

Your welcome. Yeah... I had to manually reduce each one and save it first so they weren't huge. I wish the program I use could do it as a batch process.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Yes, thank you very much for posting all this info.

Everything is packed in there pretty tight. If the wheels rubber belt thingy breaks or comes off, it appears that it could catch on the galvo mirrors - which would really mess up your day!

There is very little tension on it and it's a pretty thick round belt. Honestly, unless it sat unused for years and dry rotted, I wouldn't forsee that being a real problem. Good catch though!
