When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

Right so I have had success!
I started by getting the my baseplate dead level I scribed a line across the centre of the plate from back to front then used a stringline to extend that line and make a mark on the wall about 10m away for left to right aiming, then I made a water level and found the exact height it had to be so I had a cross to aim at
I pissed around with Dave's mounts and got both diodes firing straight and level
Then knife overed the beams and passed them through the lense pair
YAY now I have a spot not a line
I still have to make some mounts for the lenses but and then sort out tec and mount it all in a nice metal box!
Thanks again for all your help guys it would have been a nightmare without you
    Ill post more pics soon
    Cheers
    James

Badger, you say thats a quad 4W module, I take it the whole thing is quite heavily TECed and they are the 73 mitsus?
What current are you driving them at?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
