Default Quick group buy for cambridge

I'm in for 60$ for a pair, if others want to join me.

Those are probably far red/ir mirrors, so remember you'll have to switch mirrors. The good news is the mirrors are clamped, not epoxied.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I have the table of Amp parts values for most Cambridge products pre 2005, including these. Hack any classical Camb amp or Chinese clone amp you want, or we can etch/handwire boards similar to 6850s. Only about 10 parts change values.

If you do not want the fastest scanning, a handful of op-amps will get you go and stay there positioning, ie just move reasonably fast, with centering and damping. Probably costs less then 20$ per channel to build a center and damp amp if you use a TDA2050 for the output stage, which costs a whopping 1.50$.

If you have very big beams from a diode array, this is your low cost beast of choice.
Also you can place one after a existing scan head for that wrap the beams around the room effect.

These are nice, as they use a standard ribbon cable connector.

    I placed a bid.

    Any others?

I'm also in for a pair at $60 if you will take overseas "bids", possibly more if you end up with more in your hands
dont worry about customs and charges, if you use usps it will be very easy to ship these to me

(I can etch my own boards if you send me the pics)

in any case, thanks for the heads up steve

I'd like at least one more group buyer. If we split 5 pairs, we have one in case there is a bad sensor or bearing in the mix.

I am in for a pair, who exactly is going to be doing the group buying part and (presumably) testing? Also, I assume that the price per pair will be (auction price)/5 + shipping, possibly with a cut for the person who does the buy? In that case I would be willing to pay up to $50 for my pair.

    And we're outbid at 390.00

I would have handled everything at your quoted amount in your post + my exact costs for boxes, materials, shipping and fees.

I am going to be really ticked if some one shows up on the forum and asks for help on these.

I already have one pair working for slow scanning, I like them

And yeah, Krazer, I'd have let you in.

Hmm, he has been selling them individually for $100 a piece, so we may be in deeper than we thought from this vendor. I am not sure if it will help us as a whole, but looking at historic pricing I can up my bid to $100 for the pair since it seems the prices of these have actually risen since I bought my last pair in 2010.
