Yeah, it's only showing half the frames, or in some of them no frames at all...
I just downloaded one of the ild. images from the link you gave me, and it did the same thing, only half the frames..
has anybody else had this problem?
Thank you for the link, those'll be helpful in the future.

Okay.
My laser has about 15 minutes of built in animation and beam effects that are awesome. I am simply try to find a way to use my Netbook which is 32 Bit and the ishow DAC that works great on ishow, if the software wouldn't keep crashing. to add a few more beam type shows, preferably shows that have been put together that I can just run at my own will when I go into ILDA mode but still be comparable to the show that my laser puts on itself.
I found some shows but when I open them on spaghetti they say files are missing and void.
They play fine on spaghetti, but through the laser it's straddling one beam while its trying to make the design, but it just can't make the whole design or design at all.
Can anybody please help?

That is really weird... make sure all settings are right in the software. Maybe one colour shows up and the other doesn't? Check your wires, especially the blanking wires and ground wires. Make sure everything makes good contact. My guess is it's a hardware problem.
I'm sorry, but I can't help you any more with this, other than saying save up and get a decent DAC :P
Oh and make some pictures/video of the system with the bad output.

Lol, Hey, I appreciate it. You've helped with just about everything I've bothered this site with so far!
But one more thing, do you have any suggestion on what DAC's I need to upgrade too, and where I can get 'em?
Thanks.

Hehe, I'm having exams and I'm bored :P
Well your DAC depends on the money you want to spend on it.
Just going through the DAC's that are supported by Spaghetti:
-There's the cheap sound card DAC's, but those require some DIY. Depending on the sound card, I guess those are about $50-150, unless you have an old 6 or 8 channel sound card lying around. Look on the Laserboy forum for more information about this.
-The Riya DAC. Lite is $145, Basic is $255 and Pro is $305. I don't know much about them, but so far I didn't hear anything bad about them. Riya Lite is really nice, it's just an USB cable with an ILDA connector at the end, but it contains a fully featured DAC.
-The Easylase is a really nice DAC, it's the one I currently have. I can't say anything bad about it, rock solid. But I don't hear much about it anymore, and it's quite expensive (€350). Developed by JMLaser, a German company.
-Framestreamer 2.0. I had a similar one, the Framestreamer 1.1. It worked fine on my old laptop but refused to do anything on my new one so I gave up with it. But for $199, not a bad price. Developed by Norm, a Canadian hobbyist.
-I don't know anything about Lumax except that they are apparently sold as Laserworld DACs.
There are other DACs that are not (yet) supported by Spaghetti.
-There's the new Lasershark DAC. I'm curious about how it performs.
-The Etherdream. This DAC works over ethernet and I only hear positive stuff about it. It is manufactured by j4cbo on this forum and he knows what he's doing. Kind of expensive, but a good deal for what you get. DMX support, TTL outputs, OSC support, on board processing, ... you get a lot for that $289. Not listed on the Spaghetti website, but I believe Spaghetti supports the EzAudDac driver for sound cards so it should work with it.
-Pangolin stuff. Not for hobbyists on a budget. Their cheapest option starts at Quickshow for €500. I have heard various things about it.
Prices are just as a reference, I just googled some sellers I knew and used their price. You might find a cheaper price elsewhere.
Also get LSX if you can afford it someday. Spaghetti is good for now and it's not bad software, but it simply can't win any comparision with LSX. Much more possibilities, especially for live control.
