    Also realized I have the LK-PD2. Not sure of the differences between the two...

    As for controlling the size of the gratings, you won't be able to via DMX. The effects are on a wheel post-galvo. I've been thinking of creating a manual hard-cutoff aperture for the front of the unit but haven't gotten around to it yet.

    Very nice projector and for 400 usd... that's crazy cheap.

    How is the 3D effect made? It is with optics or software (scanning)?

    optics. it's scanning through a small piece of lenticular plastic.
