Liconix LDD-100 drivers
Hi All
I acquired recently some Liconix LDD-100 drivers to salvage some TO3 lsaer diode mounts and was thinking about using/modifying them instead of just ripping the mounts because the circuit seems quite nicely designed, along with a nice dual gate RF mosfet and discrete TEC driver
If someone happens to have any pointer on where to find docs on those drivers, please could you give me some informations? I've been unable to find some useful documents so far...
Thanks all!

Liconix died in the mid 90s. Gas laser company, made Argons and HeCAD. They branched into diode right at the end.
They made really, really, really, good PSUs, for gas and diode, so I would not ditch those. However, you will have to reverse engineer them, as they are "Pre-Internet"

Thanks Steve
I know Liconix did metal vapor lasers, especially spectroscopy and lithography lasers (I have three HeCad and would love a HeSe) and I have their PSU schematics, but I didn't know they only made diodes at the end...
The "sad" thing is both drivers seem customized to a different point, one with a daughter board glued inside with some kind of transistor current mirror, another with some point-to-point component additions here and there, so they are definitely different from each other (they have the same trimmers but some are hidden on one driver)
Hopefully someone will one day google this and perhaps add some pointers to enrich knowledge base... I'd like to personally add to my collection as I already have some classifieds from Liconix
I'll have a look and try to at least power one and get a laser diode modulated, it shouldn't be too difficult in itself (might be time consuming though)
Thanks!
