suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Damn, I want me a mini CNC mill now!

What do you use software wise to code up the command for the CNC?

Is it laterally XYZ movement commands or do you do its visually / in cad and it works out the machine code?
    Regards,

its not that mini, its 1.3 metres long and 1 metre deep and weighs half a ton without a vice in it, any tools in the atc and without 50L of coolant

I use mach3 to actually run the machine which has a few wizards in for simple operations and then I also use cambam for more complex operations. I also do some coding by hand as that way you can get the machine to do exactly as you want.

um no far more to it than just xyz commands

the CNC goes automated, love modern technology

cnc probing XYZ and then measuring each tool and setting the tool length offsets its self
