That kickstarter 5 axis is a beautiful piece of kit, but I'd want a bigger machining envelope for that money so I wouldn't be buying new!

Yep that 5 axis machining the shoe was "the Sh-iiiiii-zzle!" This is the sort of material I need when doing a sales pitch to the sherif Actually my DRO can accept a probe and store coordinates to a USB thumb drive. A bit tedious and it's sure no laser scanning Faro arm but I'd like to try some fun experiments copying a shoes that fits and makings her some shoes via CNC millied Aluminium mounds and use them to make urethane cast shoe components. She's got tiny size 3 feet and it's almost impossible to buy her shoes.

    Thanks for the shizzltastic vids

Please do keep up the posts! I'm a new member and I haven't even had a chance to see introduce myself because I've been glued to your thread :-)

I'm planning on usin the tormach at my local hackerspace to make some laser bits myself and it's been both educational and inspiring watching you apply new tools and techniques to your work.
