The one good thing about the Pangolin Quickshow package is that it has an excellent resale value if it turns out that this hobby is not for you. In fact, you can probably resell it for about 90~95% of what you paid for it. The projector, however, would be a different story as far as resale. I love Pangolin's products and their customer support is second to none. The QS package is great for a beginner but also has quite a few features for the intermediate and even advanced users. The great thing about LSX and Spaghetti (aside from a cheaper price and awsome capability) is that the people who wrote and sell the software chat right here on the forum regularly. As many others have suggested, try to make it to a LEM. Other than that, check out some of the user threads and YouTube videos of their shows and you can get a good idea of what can be done with a few week's paychecks and some elbow grease. Welcome to PL!
