    Note:

For those in the US that want more than two, be prepared for a couple of dollars more in shipping, as I have no idea if 4 or 5 sheets will fit in the padded envelope that I have planned. I may end up shipping via flat-rate priority if required.

I had an interesting comment from the guy that designed this scan head. This scan head originally had this lenticular material years ago before I changed it out (happy to have it back now!). I thought I'd post the comment here in case some folks around here were wanting to do some experimenting.

"This effect was used in both the slow and the fast motor module. Your use was perfect in the slow motor - beautiful! The fast motor allows for harmonics to be displayed, it produces some cool effects but because the motor speed is hard to lock with the oscillator it tends to be hard to lock in. There was a test system which had encoders that were phased locked to the oscillators, but due to cost and signal recording issues it was never used during performances other than live laser events, planetarium shows etc."

So, spinning this material at an even higher rate of speed can produce some very cool effects!

I'd love to sit down and play around with the lenticular effect some more, I just have a big project I'd really like to finish before SELEM.

The question I have for you is not "How fast a phaselocked motor do you need?" The question I must ask is, "How many RPM can the plastic disk take? "

I used Femtosecond pulsed lasers + optical choppers in the last job. Motor technology has came a long way in the last few years.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
