Has anyone seen anything like this?

Although eBay seller, lasercrystals, has a history of only 14 sales he's got a %100 rating and his sales history seems to be all miniature size monolithic crystal assembly (MCA) based 532nm DPSS related modules. Note the link to all four of his current listings below:

I wanted to solicit input from anyone who may have had any hands on testing of one of these modules?

There are no beam specs on that listing. Would be good to know the aperture diameter and divergence.

So what you need to do is just simply to add a power supply to the green laser.

Sorry, but.. that ad is a rather dis-congruent mish-mash of a tech-discussion / some-sort of 'product'.. difficult to distill what's actually-being offered / sold.. and the pic of the 'module', while 'cute', is awfully-suspicious.. no TEC I/O leads for the pump? No additional leads for some sort of temp-reg of the x-tal? No (visible) collim-lens? Mounting-tabs for tight-pegging to a heat-sink(at a minimum..)? What, are you supposed to stick this thing down with 'bubblicious'?

...And any sales pitch that includes:

    That's so so easy!!!

..is prooooly something you wanna avoid.. Unless, of course, you have a spare $600. laying-around to 'find out'..

If you pick it up, do-let us know what it 'does'....

    cheers..

    haha blooming fucking ha

as jon knows ... us old guys here do tend to do some scientific calcs when it comes to new discoverys regarding common wavelength techs ....

so here we go .... 532nM*2(wires)/15(auctiondaysleft)+$600-$14(shipping)f(x) = x2, which relates an input x to its square, which are both real numbers. The output of the function f corresponding to an input x is denoted by f(x) (read "f of x"). = Vagina

Hopefully this new discovery will alow us to .... live a normal life ... did i mention that today in india ... i saw a dead person at the side of the road .... come off his motor bike.. not going fast ... no crash hat = No brain ..... very sad .. but expected

    all the best ... Karl

I am giving it a try, the vendor seems legit enough. The killer for me was the fact that they are selling bare chips, which talk about their ability to mount a vandate laser host and ppln crystal to a piece of silicon, and fits with their graphs of input power vs output power a lot more realistically. The stretch to go from that to the module seemed a lot more reasonable...

I will report back with my findings, how much interest would be there in a plug/play module (assuming the beam specs are compatible with modern 445nm diode, power will be just about right)? Should be dooable for under $1000, which I think is about the going rate for a watt of green
