For everyone who is interested in attending the ILDA LSO training class: I spoke with Greg Makhov at LSDI, and he is available to teach the class on Monday, August 19th after SELEM. He said we would need a minimum of 6 people to do the class. So if we can get 6 people to sign up, we're golden!
The cost last year was $445 for ILDA members and $495 for non-ILDA members. However, Patrick Murphy did work out a special "early registration discount" for us last year. It only applied to those people who signed up prior to August 1st, but those early birds managed to save $50 off the cost of the class. I don't know if Patrick will be willing to do that again this year or not, but I will check with him and report back here.
Either way though, we need at least 6 people to make the class happen. Rick makes 1, so that leaves 5 more slots to fill...

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
