    Thumbs up

I counted the waivers, and we had 59 total signed waivers. True, that included quite a few guests, plus at least 3 representatives from the venue, but even so, it's a respectable number. We had over $400 in excess funds after everything was paid for. That money was donated to PhotonLexicon on Tuesday.

I have a tentative list of the door prize winners, with one exception: I can't read my own writing, so I'm not sure who won the second copy of Lasercam. Maybe Andrew can help out...
    EDIT - It was Brad!

I had to format it as code to preserve the spacing...
    Code:
Johnyayas Pangolin Quickshow package (from Aixis)
Platinum 800 mw 445 nm "rifle" handheld kit with gratings, case, and goggles (from Aixis)

Kyle 800 mw 445 nm lab laser (from Aixis)

    Bradfo69 Lasercam (from DrLava)

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I have thought about that. I knew the Kinect would work. You mentioned "old". Do newer ones NOT work? Is there something I should be looking for if I try to track one down?

I'll look through your Youtube Channel and let you know.

i think drlava said something about having a "14" in the serial number, but don't take my word for it.

i played a little with lasercam and kinect in club selem and was very impressed. it was very cool not having to worry about proper lighting.

I uploaded a few pictures to the gallery. I didn't shoot very many, unfortunately. (Too busy!) But I did get a few nice shots of "Club-SELEM"... Here's a taste:

Click on any image to see it in full size.

And for the rest of the pictures, have a look in my SELEM 2013 gallery.

PS: Anyone who registered for SELEM and was not able to attend - please send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll get your SELEM shirt in the mail to you.

Thanks everyone for another great SELEM!

I've had Van Buuren's Youtopia stuck in my head since Lulilightec's show!

I've been researching DC motors and what happens when small ones hit a dead stop and are still powered -- thanks to those mobolazers! I always thought they were galvos... the more you know!

I always learn new things! Good times!

A few of the pictures I took are up, (The laserscope pics aren't from SELEM):

And so far I have one video on youtube. Youtube seems to have butchered it with compression artifacts or my camera setting might have been knocked down in quality (consumer device normally used with external compression hardware):

Thanks to all that presented! Thanks to Pangolin for the killer swag!

Anyways... fun as always! Already excited for next year!

The video is on my iPad, and I lost my charger while at SELEM. Still haven't gotten around to picking up another one. I'll put them up as soon as I do
