    Default 520nm 50mw direct green diodes (PL520)

Hey All! We've got these diodes in stock and shipping!
We've been focusing on the flashlight market for a few years, but have always occasionally carried laser products. (the laserharp being a notable one!)

How about a data sheet? Any idea the linewidth or coherence length? Phil

    Here's the datasheet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1c5ya643ck...L520-Osram.pdf
I'm afraid I don't have the other info but there are quite a few posts about these diodes now.

They're $135 (Free shipping in the USA). I usually leave prices out of posts as pricing on technology fluctuates.

I have one of these diodes from csshih. I have been running it at 250mw ~93mw for about 30 hrs now. Still going strong.
This diode requires minimal heat sinking and is a noticeably different color than the 632 greens. I really like the color.
These are the 3.8 mm cans and are really small so are a bit fiddly to deal with.

DTR has a link to some testing over at LPF for more info.

    A+ seller.

    thanks

Wow, that beam looks really nice! And you are right, it sure does look different than the 632 greens:-P

What kind of optics are you using?

It is a mystery lens that I have had for a while. It is a single element broadband coated. I don't remember the name of it. A-something I think, sorry. The laser being single mode makes a very nice spot.

Thanks laser co. I do believe they are the ones. They make a nice lens for this green.
