Aliexpress only release the payment to seller after buyers confirming to receive the package and no any dispute.
But once problem comes up, it will last a long time to deal with Aliexpress for getting back money or release the money. Depends on what agreement the buyer and the seller come to.

I would say it is even.

Cool thanks , do you know if heroics pixel pusher woul work with glediator software ?
Led strips to be used will need ws2801 support , at the moment i am planning on using an arduino mega to pass on the data output from glediator on the pc to led pixels , but the pixelpusher look way faster .

Have you had a look on http://www.doityourselfchristmas.com/ as they have lots of info on pixels and have a highly recommended seller on Aliexpress to try?
