    Well,

What can I say ? Once again another awesome meet. (For what I saw of it)

I've literally just got in the door bit of a drive.

Cheers to everyone, you're all solid in my book (cept con).

Apologies to those I missed saying bye to on the way out, I knew if I didn't hit the road then I wouldn't be back till stupid late.. Also my "bye" convos have a habit of turning 20 minute discussions!

Can't wait till next time.. Promise I'll bring a scope (one that works, and doesn't need taring down that is)

    Nige.

What an amazing experience! Thanks Jim for organising such a wicked weekend

I thought that the forum was a friendly place but meeting you guys was an absolute honour. I think I'll be processing this weekend for the next few months.

Thanks to everyone who chatted to me, gave me advice and shared their knowledge, especially Rob Stanwax who went out of his way to explain software features, optics and anything else I pointed at with a quizzical look.

Thank you too Dan! That outdoor show was immense and if you want to take me up on swapping your Picos, I still have have that 1/3 of a roll of insulating tape

I've not laughed so much in a while (sorry about the biscuits btw) nor gained so much knowledge in such a short time.

    When's the next LEM?

    Keith

29 attendee's over the weekend and we took £515. This means we have £215 towards the next LEM in 2014.

    Now, the important bit:

WHEN DO WE WANT THE NEXT LEM?

    What dates can't people do around March/April 2014? I am thinking either the first or second week, 4-5- & 6th OR 11-12 & 13th April 2014??? OR maybe 28-29 & 30th of March???
I need to know ASAP people so I can get it booked and let you all know the exact date of the next one.

    Thanks.

Well what can I say Apart from the hangover, I think Whisky and Rum should now be banned, plus the quote for industrial packs of ear defenders. BUT what a great weekend. Thanks as usual to Sir Rob, sorry once again I came with another casualty and the Real Laser Doctor was given a patient with some life signs being put in a HeNe coma for its own good. A stunning teach in on how to knife edge these pesky solid state things and the usual banter But as all have said so great to see the new faces and expand the coven. Thanks again to Jim, the perfect organisation and never ending supply of forgotten tools and good cheer. Too many to name but thanks to everyone See you all next year.

    Cheers

    Steve

Still no pictures? Is it a punishment for those who didn't make it? Looks like I will have to go to the next one myself.

it does sound like you all had a great time.

Great to see everyone again, and all you new people... Enjoyed the usual laughs, hated the all night snoring serenades...

Massive thanks to Jim for keeping this institution running for so many years and to everyone else for being so cool... Although it has to be said Mr Con, your fairy car is far from cool

Here's some video of me messing with my kit, some projector chase stuff around 8:45... Shame my greens didn't arrive in time for the meet, but can't win em all eh...
