    Default Update

The GB is continuing. I'm ordering enough to supply the private orders as well as the public ones here. Thank you all for your participation.

By the way, I thought you would find this scope shot interesting. I've set up a test rig to replicate a challenging situation: when the driver has to drive an inductive-nonlinear load. Here is the P3 operating at high frequency with a somewhat inductive load, created by tightly twisting and coiling lead wires. The top traces are the voltage measured on each side of a 1/2 Ohm resistor going to a diode load. At first glance it appears there is current overshoot, but another look is required to get the full story. Oscilloscopes only plot voltage traces, and wires, etc have some inductance, so how can just the current through the diode be plotted? The answer is to perform a differential measurement across a sense resistor.

The bottom trace is the actual current going to the load, calculated by subtracting the traces from each side of the current sense resistor via the scope's 'math' function. As you can see, there is no current overshoot and the diode current glides carefully to the preset current as designed.

    Default Need 2

    Hi all,

    New to forum

I want to order 2 please. I'm in South-Africa though, will this be a problem ?

Also can anyone tell me when will these drivers be available?

Sorry I'm little desperate, need them for a project as soon as possible.

    Thanks guys.

    Great forum!!

    Regards
