that looks great! very well done. i really need to play with the blender dxf export.
A bit hard to explain, but basically you model your curve which the line will follow yourself, dublicate it against a center point, then tell the segmented lines you made to follow the curve paths. You also set up a camera and animate it. The coloring was done in LSX. I could do it in Blender but it would be manual and too much work.
I also needed to think of some tricks to overcome the vector renderer limitations.

Here's the dots abstract in LSX. It was actually easier to do this in LSX than Beyond using phase shift rather than delay.

i did some extensive reworking of my "440 Analog" laser show. i always liked the show, but was never satisfied with it. since the music is from "Lost in Space", i decided to treat the abstracts as organisms in inner and outer space. crystallin entities, microscopic lifeforms, living particles of light thriving in lines of magnetic flux. cosmic jellyfish.

Although I don't really care for the music, the visuals are *quite* nice, and they do evoke a sense of organic life - particularly in the middle of the show.
I think you definitely hit the mark you were aiming for.
