if you don't mind posting the files, that would be awesome. i'm trying to figure out how to make things in beyond.

It has a few bugs in it right now (only able to utilize sine) which I have sent an email to Pangolin about. Throwing AM into the mix has completely opened up the Classic LD2K abstract generator.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    Thanks!

Certainly. I'll post when I get home. I'll post the individual cues and also post the timeline based cue (allowing me to play 4 cues at once, in sync). The amplitude modulation is not too hard to find but it doesn't sit in the abstract UI with the rest of the adjustments. You have to map a modulator to the amplitude. As I said before, it has bugs. I am hoping Pangolin fixes it soon.

Thanks, this is what I have been striving for. My first affair with lasers started with Laserium shows. While I know I won't get to that status, I can do my best, "a man's goals should exceed his grasp". I love the twisting and writhing undulation of procedural abstracts but it's the simplicity of the analog abstracts that move me the most.

Within a few more weeks, I will have all 4 of my RGB scan pairs complete and I should be able to emulate a lot of the old planetarium style shows. When I get my lumia and scan-thru rig setup, I should be way better off for recreating that look. I am hoping to eventually get one of DZ's Z-5s and output it to the 4 separate scan pairs. With his "audio-in" function, it will be easy to switch from DAC driven content to true analog in real-time. When the Z-5's color mod is officially integrated, I will have no choice but to buy one of his beauties.

Not the best pic. I was playing around with FM'ing a VCQO via an LFO and I used the same LFO to pulse a VCA. Ended up with an abstract that's different between the center and outer edges. Anyway, thought it was cool. Here's also a pic of the color mod box, gen1. Enjoy!

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

ha! You guys wouldn't want the gen1 box. It works quite well but does have issues that I hope to resolve with gen2. This one will likely get torn apart as the gen2 gets built. Stay tuned!
