..ps, Here's what happens when you add 'color-mod'.. http://media.timeout.com/images/1018.../422/image.jpg ..simply no-way to adequately describe seeing such 'liquid-color' in real-life, just... Words fail one.. I (believe..) this shot is Brian's (aka 'laserist'..) werk, from SLSC.. Respect, ya'll

..Looking forward to seeing shots of such-like DZ CM-creations...

Colormod panel is complete, just waiting for the circuit board which I hope will arrive next week. I still have to populate the board then wire it to the panel, all before FLEM!

The only thing I don't like is the new enclosure for the whole thing. SKB advertised it as a 10U top. It's just over 11U. Apparently, the top open space is for cabling, which doesn't make sense to me due to the open space on the rear of the console that's meant for cabling. Oh well, hopefully I can find something a little more suitable.

I have an EWI MXC-008-10 10u mixer case that I use for my modular synth and it's really great.
I have 9u of gear and the top 1u is for little lights and a bank of switches for some outboard control of certain modules. They have a 12u model as well.

What DZ does when he is not building analog laser goodness:

If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room.

Wow! I thought my console had a lot of knobs! That's very cool!

absolom, change the batman logo to an IBM logo and that about sums it up! :roll eyes: Between kids, family, work, overtime, general house work, Ed phone calls and sleep I manage to sneak in a little R&D time! For those who have talked to Ed on the phone know what I mean! He's an amazing wealth of knowledge and I try to soak up as much as I can!

some new eye melty in the works....
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
