Default Best PBS cube for 445nm

Could you suggest the best PBS cube for use with the 445. I have always just excepted the loss I had with some general BB ones, but would like something better or is there really not much else. I seem to be loosing 800mw in the cube I am using right now.

What the total power you blue laser is which loosing 800mW in the cube?
If your loosing rate is high, I am worry it is not special coating at 445nm, maybe it is used for other blue PBS before or broad wavelength band coating PBS.
we had special coating PBS for 445nm in stock.

Could this be a polarization issue?

Have you tried rotating your lasers to see if changing the angle of polarization results in increased total output?

I believe these http://www.lambda.cc/106.asp were the ones that 'Planters' found were good-replacements (...for the 'really-better-ones' we found from JML Optical.. but, unfortunately, JML won't sell 'indies' anymore.. Might look into a 'GB' sometime.. we'll see, but... I don't have to 'build anything', so.. might not be too-brutal..

I've had good luck with blu-ray drive cubes in the past. Very low loss, It's just a tight fit!

There are PBS cubes in blu-ray drives?
    Now this I find interesting.

Give JML a call. What Jon is true for popular sizes, but if you are willing to accept a less often purchased size then they are willing to sell by the piece until the inventory is depleted. Then it's in lots of 25.

P.S. Always order a narrow band or laser line cube when they are available. The difference between BB and laser line is larger than the performance differences between different manufacture's cubes.
