    Default Bizarre blanking issue

I just replace my green module with a new CNI and after about an hour, the green mostly stops blanking (thin, dim beam appears bewteeen visible points). Once blanking goes, If I switch frames, it will shoot a solid beam straight out of the projector between transitions. It will also lag behind the other modules, meaning if I bring the intensity down to zero in software, it will shoot a solid green beam straight forward for up to 4-8 seconds. It also does this when I close out of the software. Once or twice trying to reset the pj by bringing the intensity to zero, it continued to project the frame for another four seconds after the rest of the modules went dark, but I'm not sure that's related other than that the green wouldn't shut off once the issue appears.

It does this in Beyond and QS and on two different laptops running different OS's, so I'm pretty sure it's the PJ.

Power cycle of the pj doesn't help, it just needs time. Thermal issue and why would that cause that behavior? Even more odd, the thing worked just fine at first for three shows that were at least 5 hours each.

Also now having my red (KVant 640) go out within an hour. Bringing the intensity down to zero will briefly reset it, but again, seems it just needs plenty of time before it wants to work. Also thermal? There's a dust cover I need to remove to feel the plate on which the red's driver is mounted to feel for heat. Does the driver itself do a thermal shutdown on the KVant?

FYI, the green PSU & Driver and the KVant's are nowhere near each other, but I won't rule anything out and the issue happening together seems like more than coincidence.

With some of my projectors I have this problem when I use them with FB3
When I use the same projector with QM2000 the problem is gone.
Try to get a QM2000 and make a new pallet that will fit your projector

I was thinking the issue could be with the FB3, too, but it was never a problem before in the year I've been using it with this box, although I have noticed the new green needs 19% minimum power in the Pangolin settings to start lasing.

Check to see if the low side of the modulation input is grounded. Not sure if it matters, but in the ILDA spec it is not grounded. The color mod lines are speced to be differential. But with a single ended device, like a modified sound card they are all grounded to a common ground and that works fine.
