I honestly believe that they didn't get what the wanted for it on the Ebay auction and the other bits where in a back room somewhere!
Can't proove it but I would put money on it!
They certainly haven't had feedback on Ebay from whoever bought it.

Jim, this is sooo wrong what they have done, the description is nothing like what they have given you, It needs to be reported to eBay.

Do you still have the option to leave feedback? I have found this company on FB, is this them, https://www.facebook.com/HaloLighting
    Squat that bug,

One day I'll finish my build.

That is them Tony, I have already aired my views via Ebay feedback and have also sent them a lengthy email explaining how pissed off I am about it all.
I doubt very much It will get me anywhere though.

You don't need it. It would be nice if you had gotten the large tranny, but that sealed mirror medical head will run off a UK single phase line if you do precisely what I tell you. I've helped one Brit do it before. He even has a detailed web page about it.

The linear plasma displays (2) in the remote are fun to play with if you like neon stuff. That is a classic I90 remote. Works with all I90 except the newer I90C. You could easily hook it to another laser product.

I need to get to my docs at home, but I know that pictured sealed mirror model well. I've seen the things all over the US. It even has a name, and its a Innova variant. It has the full power, water cooled, magnet and can run CW. It delivers greater then three watts to the patient in medical service. Which means it does about 4 or more at full current. Plus you have a fill system, which means it has a very long life.

Its in the I60 family and has the medical sealed mirrors. That tube design later became Purelight Star. I cannot for the life of me, remember its name, but I do have some serious docs for it. It gets better, I even know where all 200 pages are, and where the bright orange three ring binder is.

So think of it as a Argon Filled Purelight head.

Lets find out if its gas intact before we curse the darkness?

I will check the tube with my HV generator to see if it's gas intact Steve but to be honest, with having two young kids I don't really get much time to experiment with things to deeply hence my plea for an I90 PSU.
Unfortunately I left the transformer there, but I have asked them for it to be sent over to me and if they do I have said that I would remove my negative Ebay feedback to them so here's hoping.

You really just need the medical passbank, which is small, ships easily, and I have a few I'll never use.
More correctly, you need a MInova PSU, aka I60 or I70 PSU. I90 PSU will shut down in safety mode if hooked to that tube.

It will probably run at modest power off the Meditech. In fact I know it will.

Mike was in no hurry to listen to what I told him. Did it the hard way, by using no transistors. He has a tube that needs 40% more power and the dreaded series magnet, and he got it to go:

Keep in mind krypton is 1/7th the gain of that Argon.

You two live on the same little island, maybe your neighbors?

Two kids, wot you &itchin about? I have a 81 year old Mum with a attitude problem. ;-0
