the DZ board is for colour correction not breakout. DZ sold the design he developed with Bill Benner to me & I revamped it.
I have just revamped again but not quite for sale yet - 3 channel DZ colour correct and solid state axis control on one board.

@santai - it is possible to do stop over ethernet - I have used this in larger gigs having a PC stageside with a single cat5 run to control the pc using RDC as I was using FB3 controllers. The Estop was broken out of the CAT5 but then you need to make it do something once it breaks out. There are a few issues doing it this way but it is possible

Jim one of the reasons my system is very reliable is its very simple no data just a signal to pull the chip out of reset. Its rock solid and sometimes you can over complicate things. Im sure what you are saying would be possible maybe using CAN

I think he's referring to DZ's breakout board there Rob, which is indeed a breakout board (I have 5 of the v3 and 2 of the v2 - or is it V1 and V2, I forget...)
I use DZ's breakout board which has a 5v relay onboard to drive the ILDA interlock loop. So using this and some cunning circuitry (well I thought it was cunning, I'm no electronics wiz...), I am able to daisy chain my estop using the ILDA cable, and it works surprisingly well.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Hi I am just about to rewire my canton laser photo lp310 laser. It had the mystery ilda board and scan fail board.
I am installing stanwaxs ilda board colour correction board. Still doing the layout of things but I think it is going to be a nice up grade.
I have an audio background. The colour correction board to me is like a preamp for the lasers and scanners.
The fact that you can delay the colours to allow time for the scanners to arrive at there position is cool.
To me that is like a processor. I have the same features for my stereo.
