    Jay, I'd love to fix the other side. I'm traveling home from training in Europe for work. I'll PM you asap.

    We need to introduce you to David Zurcher! (He's working on a resurrected, re-vamped version of the original P-4 analog console.)

    If you fancy a trip to the Orlando area next spring, on March 1st David will have his new analog console set up at the Florida Laser Enthusiast's Meeting... See the "FLEM" thread in the meet and greet sub-forum for details.

    Adam, as much as I would like to take a trip down there, I'm afraid it is financially impossible for me. Being the laser guy didn't quite leave me wealthy.
    I do, however, appreciate the invitation. Maybe if you guys have something going on in the West, like Las Vegas, I can attend.

    Understood Jay. Maybe next August you can hitch a ride with someone headed east for SELEM... But yeah, Florida is a bit far for you for just a one-day event. Rest assured that DZ's console will be a feature at all future LEM's on the east coast though, so if you can ever make the trip (or if you'll be over here for some other reason and we can set up a LEM around the trip) you'll be sure to get a good look at it.

    Adam-
    Let's see what the future holds. I would be thrilled to meet DZ and see his work. Don't forget there is a west coast as well! :-)

    Hey Jay;

    I do understand that it's a long haul for our members on the west coast to travel to SELEM, but given the amount of work it takes to organize SELEM each year, there's no way I could pull it off if I weren't somewhat local to the event to start with. As it is, SELEM is a 4 hour drive from my house, and I have made several trips up to the venue on my own to work out kinks with regard to the event over the years.

    I wouldn't even know where to begin searching for a venue on the west coast, and there's no way I could afford to fly out there for a site inspection prior to the event. So if there is going to be a LEM out west, I'm afraid someone else will have to head it up.
