Output head is a small cylinder 12mm and the laser is 50w CW.
Where can i find pinout for db25 connector to drive it ?

... I have only documentation for pulsed types with a DB25 connector -- but should be different than for the CW-types ...

Ok give me manual for pulsed laser and i will verify the pins on pcb if they are correct and match.
But why CW can't be used for engraving with a galvo scan head or a 2 axis x-y cnc ?
If i install an optical isolator for protection from reflections can i use it for engraving ?
Also from what matterial are the mirrors for this wavelength 1070nm ?

... you can engrave metal and with a galvo too ... but back-reflections will most likely kill your laser (had two "reversible shutdowns" for >10% backreflection when XY-engraving, even with "skewed" laser-angle).

Good luck with a DIY optical isolator!

... attached manual for pulsed type ...

Thank you i will check the manual.
Where you found the manual from IPG ? Because i have send mail to them for manual but no response yet...

How can light reflected back with a galvo scan head from f-theta lens if the beam hit the material from angle and not perpendicular ?
With CO2 laser(10.6um) without optical isolator i don't have problem with reflections...

... found the manuals online somewhere or got a link in a forum - didn't know exactly...

When the galvo will point the beam perpendicular in the center of the working range, then the reflection will return direct into the colimator head.

CO2-laser's are not so sensitive for BR as fiber lasers ...

If i put in the center & perpendicular of f-theta lens a material 1cm^2 that absorbs totally 1070nm to beam not reflected back
and engraving at the sides of scan engraving area not in center will i have problem with back reflections ?

... if the target surface is flat and oriented perpendicular to the beam, then a "shade" could help ... but you'll loose most of the interesting working area and any bending of the surface or when melting the material and generating cavities, this too could start reflections into the laser optics "from the side" ... so not 100% safe anyhow

So i need something like that https://www.newport.com/f/high-power...ical-isolators
What material has good reflection for 1070nm to make mirrors ?
Also what material is good for lens at this wavelength ? silica with AR coatings ?

... "good" mirrors are mostly dielectrical coated -- best for DIY should be silver ... copper and gold could be used too, but have higher absorption rates.

Don't know, why optical isolators are only used with pulsed fiberlasers -- could be for the higher pulse-peak-powers (some ten Kilowatts), could be for better polarisation, than possible with CW types?
