^ THIS. ...Simply Priceless.. Interesting to see even Kvant, now, 'taking the hint', teasing that on their 'latest / greatest' models, they'll be featuring some-sort of 'external-convergence adjust'.. Frankly, I can't imagine designing an RGB-sys w/O it..

ID:	45374 ..you can just 'DIY a mini-driver slot' in the top w/ a Dremel, then make yerself an 'access port', and plug w/ rubber-nipple / plug-cap, etc..

..ok, Sure.. 'Thor Vertical Drives', yup, the Lamborarri of optical-mounts, but.. Ealings are much-more economical, and ya really only need 3.. 4, tops (ie: if yer summing-in more than just-RGB..) so.. Even brand new, they're really not too brutal for what they 'payback'..

    11 Watt ?

I love my 2 plutos, they still kick ass, and I thinking about getting 2 more.
But size and quality is important, not the extremely overkill power.

The 2 I have today is 3Watt, and they usually used for 150-500 people, and 3Watt is more then enough power, I even did a show for 800 and they still is King Kong!
11 Watt would be incredibly dangerous for a hobbyist i think... but I guess in the right environment they are perfect.

But this thread is about the PLUTO II lasers, so are there any 2015 updates on them ? size beam, cooling, etc ?

I notice that after 3-4 months the FAN is starting to make some noise, and the dust collect pretty fast inside the box.
Also the alignment need to be done, so easy handling for dust cleaning and alignment is something I wish for new lasers

    Cheers and happy new year.
