    I checked my e-mail...

I have ordered a 2,5W laser with 637 red (puuh)

What confused me is that the webpage does not have a 2,5W laser, only 2,4 \ 2,6 \ 2,8 ....

I am going to do a full review later for the heck of it but, I gotta tell you... I've unboxed one so far and these are extremely impressive. There were a few comments Picasso made to me and it appears even those things they have rectified. The flight case has great padding and the handle clears the case front and back. The wheels on the flight case aren't that great but overall very well built.

WITHOUT QUESTION... this projector has the most spot on alignment and sharpness of image of any projector I own. Gas sharp! I'm seeing things in abstracts I've never seen. Beautiful output! Better than my Kvants, better than my CT Lasers box. Absolutely no fringe or red or blue or anything. And, even with a red ratio that seems low, it's a very crisp white - maybe a "touch" blue-white but, very white nonetheless.

The only output issue is it seems just a tiny bit off "square". Vertical lines are vertical but, the horizontal lines tilt down ever so slightly right to left. If you stick a penny under the feet on the left hand side to shim it up it's square. I'll explore that later.

Regrettably... work beckons but, I wanted to quickly post my initial impressions because I was blown away with the sharpness of this output. Frickin' beautiful.

    cool!

going to bring it to SELEM? we can put it through its paces by pumping some swami abstracts through it.

i'm very interested in getting more red for my projector. i'd like to see omar's modules in action.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Oh yes, they'll both be at SELEM. I got two.

I'm unboxing the other soon to do a side by side comparison.

I threw up some haze and tried to take a few pictures of beams and now is where you see the difference in not having more red. Not complaining but... yeah. Needs more.

    I got these:

Pluto II RGB2.5watt Special Offer: 1650USD/UNIT
    Wavelength: R637nm>480mw,G532nm>1000mw,B445nm>1000mw

The cost to get a one watt red nearly doubled the cost of the projector.

Also... the slightly off square image is just on the one projector so, I'll need to think tank it to figure out what could be off slightly. I guess the galvo block. There is thermal paste between modules and the baseplate and perhaps there is some under the galvo block as well and slightly thicker on one side or something. It's not super noticable but when you look at a test frame you can see it. Nobody but a laser person would remotely notice.

it may be one of the galvos is rotated a little in the mount.

i'm looking for about a watt of tight beam 642.

I wonder about the sound mode of the laser, (have not tested it yet) but can I use "music" mode without ILDA or DMX , and get laser output..
Manual dont say anything about it.

    Thanx
