What confused Laserboy was sections of test pattern grids and concentric rings used as eye safe "clouds" in beam effects. The rings were well spaced, not crowded together. The Grid is the standard 10x10 or 11x11 test grids distributed by ILDA and the popular laser software named after Scaly Anteaters. When Laserboy processed the Grids, they looked like Rasters and added time to the ILDA stream.
