    Hopefully that Dell didn't have your LSX library on it. If it did, I hope the HDD is still readable. I have heard that matching HDD controllers to HDD is a bitch.

    my lsx library has redundant backups, but i was pretty worried that i lost the giant time sink of a show that i'm currently working on.

    Time to get a lightening conductor maybe.

    I know they're only supposed to discharge clouds rather than channel lightening, but at least if it does strike, its more likely to go down the conductor than through the house.

    Other alternative is grow a big tree at the end of the garden!
