Thanks guys so much for the assistance when I get back home I'll add the latest suggestions and see what the results are. As for converting I'm not sure. I'm using photoshop to update the image. Saving as the ILD or DXF is what I don't know how to do

Well, you can open a bmp file into the background of LaserBoy and use its drawing functions to trace over it. It is somewhat time consuming as it is not an automated process. But you get exactly what you want. An image like that shouldn't take very long.

Or you can use a CAD editor like DeltaCAD to do pretty much the same thing and save the results as a DXF file. You can open that DXF in LaserBoy and save it as an ILDA file.

You also need to consider what format of ILDA file you need. It's 2D so that means your choices are format 1 or format 5. Format 1 pretty much limits you to a palette of 63 colors (this is probably what you want).

Isn't Mocha Draw free anymore? I use that to trace jpg or bmp by hand and it can save right to ild. It takes a bit but I've successfully traced over logos before with some luck. I even did a US outline for a show and it turned out pretty good. I uploaded it here on PL for anyone to use, I think it's in this forum group.

I would also suggest that you make a negative image of that bmp and make sure it's the right size to fit inside of your LaserBoy window (which can also be sized).
