    I show is all I had for years. It got me started. More money for the hardware then.

    Hi Moth, I've got Quickshow, I did a lot of research and it's definitely the easiest to get to grips with and has options for advancing in the future. I've you've got the time then LSX looks amazing but will be tricky to learn - so I've heard...
    I'm by no means an expert but the Quickshow is about £380 so if that's an all in price for the laser and software the laser will be limited but will be a damn sight better than your Maplin's special!

    As others have mentioned, get yourself on LVR's training course with James Stewart, have been myself and was very valuable indeed.

    I wouldn't say it's tricky, but you surely gotta invest a lot of time to get to the depths. It just depends on the level you want to get to... You can learn the basics in about an hour.
