    Thanks for all the input. Yea, things are not so easy to get here and I don't make it to the mainland that often. Most of my stuff comes in via container from the US but takes several weeks.

    I have managed to get everything glued and aligned (for the time being) using the ABRO epoxy clear with slightly more hardener. The test will be if everything is still in alignment on Saturday night!

    I like the look of that 3M tape Jon - I may try and order a roll to use on the next upgrade.

    Cheers

    PM me yer addy.. I'll send ya a mini-roll, just cuz you were badass-enough to actually make a caribLEM happen.. Sullen I missed it, but.. perhaps the next 'un.. Also, which post-service is the least-likely to get 'pilfered' down there... For El Sal, depends on 'la zona'.. some areas, USPS / EMS is best.. others, FedEx, etc.. Lemme know the '411 on Utila'..

    cheers..

    worst case use double back tape. It will work for the day of the show but not beyond though I do have some double back tape made to do the job on a semi perm basis.

    Heu Rich;

    Can you get JB-Quick? It works great.

    If not, I'll include some in the "package" I'm about to send you...

    Jon, that would be awesome. I think the best option would be to send it to my freight forwarder. I'll PM you the address.
    Thanks for the kudos. Buffo had a big part to play too. We both hope we get to arrange another one - which you will have to make sure you attend - in 2015.

    Buffo, I thought I had seen it somewhere but it was only the ABRO stuff.

    Thanks guys

    OK - I sent you some JB Quick and some of the Scotch "Extreme" foam mounting tape. It's that grey-colored double-sided sticky tape (with the red plastic outer sheath) that you've probably seen before. This tape will bond things together like steel though, so be careful with it. (Use an exacto-knife and a lot of patience if you ever need to remove the stuff.)

    Thanks Adam, I will let you know when it gets here and how I get on with the upgrade.

    Cheers
