QuickShow not seeing FB3 on a Mac - the solution

Greetings, all;

I finally solved a problem I was having getting QS running on my Mac, and thought this might be helpful to someone.

My FB3 problem was caused by my system (Mac OS 10.7.5 - VMware Fusion 4 - Win 7 - QS) not recognizing the dongle.
After beating my brains out with driver updates that didn't work, I finally realized that my update to Mac OS 10.7 happened around the time the system broke, and that I hadn't updated VMware.
$50 later, updated to Rev. 5 of Fusion, the FB3 was recognized and I was back in biz.

Once again, the heartbreak of cascading upgrades.

What's the error? Try connecting the FB3 before you boot your Win7 image in Fusion. Make sure you click 'Connect to Windows'

I've had issues in the past and with my setup, it really did depend on the order that it was connected in.
