Default Standalone Projecting with old style FB3 (with XD card)

    Hi all,

    I could use some help.
I have an assignment coming up that requires a projection to be standalone controlled.
Was thinking about using the fb3 with XD card (the older metal case FB3 that is).

I knew there was some way to put a series of frames onto the XD card and upon powering the FB3 with a USB powersupply (phone charger) it would play these frames standalone. I looked into it once, but totally forgot which software to use and how to make that work.

Anyone know what procedures to follow, so that upon powering up the projector starts projecting a logo and some texts ?

    Kind regards,
    Dimitri
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

The etherdream can do this as well, for half the cost of an FB3... It could be you need to send an OSC or DMX signal to activate the ilda file though.

Unless he already has the FB3-SE/XE, in which case the Etherdream option is significantly more expensive

Yes, LiveQuick is the tool to upload frames to the SD card.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

When you say standalone Dimmers is it that you can't accommodate a laptop or is it that you can't have an operator?
