Default Water Cures Anything (not related to lasers)

For as long as I've been reading Pop Sci (20+ years on/off) it seems like there has always been advertising for some sort of magic water that will save the planet. I normally ignore the pseudo science and move on, but after some lengthy discussions here in another thread about the role of government in protecting the public, I took some time to actually read the ad & go to the website. Now I don't know what disturbs me more: the fact that selling bullshit appears to be legal, or the fact that a product based on pseudo science is being advertised in a scientific publication (albeit more of an entertainment publication of sorts). I have not read through the entire website yet, as reading it makes me cringe: http://watercuresanything.com/

Another group of products that make me cringe are all the "free energy generators" that I keep seeing online, and the conspiracy theorists that believe in them. Apparently none of these people took science, or forgot about the conservation of matter & energy.

In either case, I'm just curious what other people think about these 'products', and what, if anything, should be done about the (false) advertising & misinformation surrounding them.

As long as there are people believing it & buying their products... Maybe they count the advertisement as a "publication"?

    In the same category... http://www.keshefoundation.org/
Enjoy! There are some real gems... did you know gravity is the result of the combination of two magnetic fields?

If you want magic water, go to Wyoming (allegedly):
