Default Sam's New Iodine stabilized antique laser project...

Who has a manual, scematics or parts fior these Frazier lasers built in the 1970's and used at NBS (NIST)? These would be tuned to several lines by changing the cavity length and operated single frequency at less than 1 mW. We need information and parts. Phil

By "several lines" he is saying several pre-locked frequencies for measurement. Not red/orange/yellow/green.

Right...there are several prominent Iodine absorption lines in the neon gain spectrum and the laser can lock on any of them...when it is working right and has the cables connected. We need some help; I e mailed the company. The ad for this product is still up; no idea if they still make them. I bet they were expensive, major.

That makes more sense, Sam says it can lock to 11 to 12 significant figures. That's insane stability.

If they're anything like REO, they'll just talk to you like you have 3 heads. They had no idea about the LTOR-0150ODE I have, simply because it's a 612.

I am in the market for a couple 5.25mA PSUs, and a 6.5mA PSU before my optical table gets here from Sam. Got anything for me?
