    Current draw for each individual diode/TEC.

    Maybe a little splash screen on boot? Hehe

    Hour meter for each module & total system run time?
    Also resettable system run time to help with monitoring maintainance intervals?
    Safety interlock status maybe to help with fault finding?
    I'm sure we can think of plenty more useful/flashy things it could show and do
    If in doubt... Give it a clout?

    Yup!, just like WookieBoy said,

    I would love to give it a try and program it to have hour meter, interlock, safety shutter linked to it, its possible to use a full colour lcd touch screen like the ones on the phone and use a Arduino Mega to do all those things, probly wifi to see all the status on your pc or iphone would be cool, but for now im limited to my programming skills :P
    Raspberry PI should be very cool too!
