Beyond supports DMX, Art Net, Midi, and several other protocols, so I'm slightly puzzled as to why the console, Beyond and chamsys can't communicate. It might be worth having a chat with Alexey Marc as he might know a way to get everything talking or if not, he's the person to implement it provided thats in the scheme of things and I can't see why it wouldn't be.
I think you got confused here Al... It won't work with the Pangolin Performer console and never will... I have had a few chats with Pangolin about this and as they no longer make the performer, the software won't be supporting it, but will instead support the Akai APC40...
What I do with Chamsys revolves around custom DMX boards, and once I get time, MIDI or DMX to send strings of commands into Livepro to run layered track, colour, effect and key chases. Combining this with LivePro presets and you have a very unique show...

Beyond has the LP tracks concept under the hood so you can make it do the same stuff. You just need to work the Pangoscript.
There is a built in script for the APC that will chase selected zones which is quite nice to switch on and then play with zone mutes as it runs

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I must admit I thought the DMX, Midi, Art Net could be controlled by anything essentially in so far as you created a profile in Beyond for the instruction. However, not being a user of these protocols, I did want to say so for definite, as I wasn't 100% sure.

Performer doesn't use any of these, it uses the serial protocol...

For some reason, BEYOND Universe is lagging and won't refresh for a few seconds at a time. This is the universe itself. Tried on WIN 7 and XP. Any ideas?

I'd also be interested in learning more about this. Have just upgraded to Beyond and have an ACP40...
