    Default New Green Osram diode

I just found this today on the internet.
Osram has just released a new green diode, the PLP 520 B1. it is rated at 120mw at 340ma 6.2v.
It is a multimode diode with typical divergence of FWHM 7 ' 23
It is a 5.6mm isolate package

I do not know price or availability yet.

I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these to upgrade my latest battery powered projector!

were did you see this? I can't find it. PS the single mode is 7x22 so that's amazing for a multimode.

4 of these and my projector is forever silent.

I heard that there might be an increase in power in the green D.I. diodes months ago, but was unsure .. Can't wait for the 500mW -1W ones to come out to play (not holding breath tho)

These sound interesting. I wonder how much they are going to cost. Osram needs to start working on some 473s!!
