    What!? That's really not cool...

Assuming you've not moved any of the AM's, you should be able to check if it's KTP or YAG issues quickly.
i.e. does it still lase on 1064nm? Digital cameras, webcams etc. usually just about pickup 1064nm, so strike the lamp, crank above threshold and inspect.
If it's KTP, I've quite a few in my spares cupboard inc. the custom TEC oven, and 5 axis mounts for them.
YAG... I think they've all gone. Will check if you're sure it's that.

If you want to check the KTP... get a small dental mirror whatsit; with the system off, inspect both ends of the x-tal.
If the KTP is visibly cracked, carefully remove it, and check it still lases on 1064nm.

    Heh @ Chris

Photo attached below. It's not been torn apart yet. It's about knee high, fairly compact.
I've not yet got around to it, but Buffo, (Adam) told me there is a trick to fool the fibre interlock port by sticking a Bic pen lid in it!
It powers up and the dial whizzes up to 1.8W. I'm sure we could get a beam out of it at Sir. Fleet if we need to do something in the kitchen.

As I've *not* got around it getting a beam out of it, if we can't at the meet, then it's scrap and I'll bin it. If we can, then it's for sale; sound fair?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to go on the 'me too' list of people not coming now.
I unexpectedly find myself with every projector I own having all the scanner amps removed as of yesterday, so nothing that actually works is available to bring.

I would still come along without anything but truth be told, the money I will spend that weekend would much better be spent with Rob Stanley at this point in time, and I'm sure Rob would agree!

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I agree with Dan. There's plenty of other kit and staying in the hall will only cost you some ear plugs
