    Can anyone help me ?
As I said before, I hope to attend this meet with my latest acquisition (the LS PV 80 watt YAG).
However, this unit runs on mains water just like a good old fashioned argon laser.
I assume as well as huge amounts of power that we will be allowed to plumb in a hose too ?

    That sounds fun Simon!

I understand that they have had water-cooled laserscopes ect. before and at the last UKLEM there were pipes ready to be set up - but no action.
Jim also installed a 3 phase socket (lots of amps).

Yes it is lamp pumped and has a tiny internal DI water reservoir circuit that has a water to water heat exchanger for the external water cooling.
My guess is it was originally designed similar to the 800 series as there is a space inside for a radiator but it is not fitted - I think they underestimated the heat load.

The possible clash of this meet and said gig is no more, the gig date and location have been moved.

Will keep my eye on the thread to see if I can assist with any stuff to bring.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
