I plan to do some testing of these in the course of testing the other optics from Laserwave that I will be selling. But, knowing how they preform from a little below 445nm all the way to a little longer than 650nm in transmission and reflection is what I would want to know. I don't have a convenient broad band light source as opposed to narrow band laser sources and this would be useful for future reference as alternative light sources become available. Also, I got into a discussion some time ago with Fred from OSLS about their high performance dichroics that were not working very well. He said that these filters needed a very specific and narrow AOI for their best operation. To some extent that was true. Whoever tests these should check there angle performance to see what flexibility they would allow, if any.
/an aside:
Eric, would you like me to test additional dichros with the same test method?
I can polarise my light source to create P and S plane responses as well should that be of interest? (Again 400-700nm).
It would be straightforward to test at varying angles as well.
If this is of interest, you could loan me whichever filters you are interested in; I test and return them?

Dan,
Yes, that would be a good idea. And I know bridge was trying to make this something like a fun contest, but this is the kind of data that is needed and unavailable unless you get all your optics from CVI or Thorlabs etc. Do you have high extinction available? If so, then the cubes should be looked at as well.
As soon as I get them I'll send them over. We'll work something out.
Thanks
Eric,
400-500nm, 100:1
500-700nm, 1000:1
I've not tried measuring it on a PBS; that would be interesting.

Why not both Bridge? A larger sample is always better
Both look like a good idea.
Before We thought 5pcs each for one tester, for test it is much, if 2 different tester, each dichroic 3pcs is enough for test, that's ok?
Junk and Daniel , please PM me, thanks.
Best regards!
