ID:	40215TBH I think Brads find of clear 8x8 inch samples all look very promising-

    if you cut four rounds pieces from each sample the price gets really cheap.
    They give a discount if more sets are purchased but all must be sent to the sand address-- Delphiglass

    @ Displaser - well I have 144 thin walled and low cost vials- about 2X as long as you use.
    it will be some trial and lots of error.

    got Map gas need to find my torch-

    Len,

    Wider is better, thicker is better, at least IMHO (gives you a better target)... Holding the vials or tubes in place is a bit if a challenge if you don't have right tools. Resist the temptation to pick up pieces until they sit for a LONG time. You will burn yourself sooner or later. It helps to find some lampworking materials - check out Hobby Lobby for that too.
