The output window is cut out of one of the narrower panels while the longer side panels only have holes for fastening to the frame of the case.

OK thanks, looks like I can fit everything in there, will be very tight. Definity going to order one, probably will wait for the next version if your going to add a mounting solution.

    thanks

think I crammed everything I could in there, now to start drilling and tapping. In there is a single M140, dual 73s and a 1.3w dpss.

They'll be for sale again soon. Production is on hiatus while I move to a new shop and consider some slight changes to the design like switching the fasteners and tapped holes to metric.

Maybe if enough of us speak up, we can encourage Jonathan to expedite this process.

I my Micro chassis, did my first build in one:

And now that my variance should be complete by this week or next (per my phone calls with the FDA), I'm wishing my other 2 projectors weren't decommissioned into piles of parts, waiting on new chassis! I suppose I could rebuild them into the POS chassis they came in, but that's a lot of work, only to need to undo it and redo it again when the new MICRO XL chassis arrive.

Jon was mentioning something about offering a group buy in the future (distant? near?). Is anybody else waiting to buy a MicroXL chassis? Maybe we can light a fire under his butt.... Otherwise, I may have to order some from Goldenstar. Can't make money off a pile of parts in a cardboard box...

Later down the line I'll be interested in his larger case, if he decides to make those.

The pics in my above post (and I believe all the pics in this thread) are of the Micro. The Micro XL is larger, although I don't know the dimensions.

Alright, at long last, I've managed to get everything together to resume production of the MiCRO cases. For now, I'm going to focus on the 9" x 8" x 8" original MiCRO cases, pictured above.

To get things started, I've started a group buy thread. Once 10 are spoken for and payments are in, I'll have them made. I waited until now so I could make sure the group buy goes quickly with no major delays.

Here's a link to the group buy:
